STUDENT WORK
Originally an Apothecary and Health Food Store, the new owner of this local business wanted to fill the need for a local Japanese and sushi take away hub in this young demographic.
This Change of Use project comprised of a total fit-out, with attention to circulation zones in a tight 44sqm boundary. All new finishes, door and window openings, equipment and furniture selections were made throughout.
Japanese elements were employed and a dominant use of warm toned timbers, oak, Burma Teak, and Japanese handcrafted ceramic tiles
A selection of seating zones at the sushi bar, separate banquette or window seating, offer the patron a welcoming experience at this desired locale.
This project focussed on producing a spatial design solution in accordance with a client brief.
